Owner and Builder – Craig Riddle
Craig Riddle has more than 37 years’ experience in the building industry, specialising in high-end residential construction. He is highly experienced in the design and build of new homes and extensions in Brisbane. He builds single and double storey extensions, units and duplexes, and in the management of a wide range of refurbishments, renovations and repairs.
Craig founded Aaron Building in 1991 shortly after moving to Australia from his native New Zealand. Prior to specialising in residential construction, Craig spent seven years working in commercial construction, with senior roles including Leading Hand on a large multi-storied monolithic construction site. He also has a background in carpentry, with Diplomas in Building and Construction, Project Management, and Occupational Health & Safety, and is an active member of the Housing Industry Association.
Craig is passionate about working closely with clients to find the best solution to their requirements. He excels in his ability to take clients’ ideas and practical requirements and turn them into reality, whether this means building a new home, or modernising or renovating an existing property. Under Craig’s leadership, Aaron Building has a 100% project completion rate, and achieves enviable volumes of both repeat business and recommendations.

Book-keeper – Bronwyn Riddle
Bronwyn Riddle has worked in partnership with her husband and director of Aaron Building Craig Riddle since the company’s launch in 1991. As Book-keeper, Bronwyn is responsible for all of Aaron Building’s bookwork, including BAS, monthly bank reconciliations, wages, data entry, contracts, invoices and bill payments. She also works part-time as Church Administrator for a local church (Springwood House of Praise).

Carpenter – Darren Smith
A Carpenter with 27 years’ experience, Darren Smith joined Aaron Building in September 2014. Highly experienced in all aspects of carpentry, Darren is particularly skilled in extension building as well as kitchen installation, and holds Certificate III in Carpentry, Trade Certificate in Carpentry, and is also CSCS-certified in bathrooms and kitchens. Before joining Aaron Building, Darren worked in New Zealand and the UK as well as Australia as a Self-Contracting Carpenter and Kitchen Fitter.
Apprentice carpenter – Zac Riddle
Craig and Bronwyn’s youngest son Zac Riddle is a second year Apprentice Carpenter, working towards his Certificate 111, and has been his father Craig’s off sider for the past 18 months, working full-time on the site. Dedicated to the family firm, Zac started working for Aaron Building as a School-based Apprentice in his senior year at school. As well as picking up valuable experience first-hand in the family firm, he has also attended TAFE to build on his knowledge of the trade and industry.
